Enroll in the course in the audit track
If you'd like to apply for financial assistance in a course, please make sure that you've first enrolled in the audit track in that course. You must enroll as an audit track learner first.
Some courses are not available in the audit track so financial assistance cannot be applied.
I've enrolled in the audit track, why is it not available on the form?
If your audit course does not appear in the course dropdown in the financial assistance application:
I want to apply for Financial Assistance in a MicroMasters, Professional Certificate, XSeries, or MicroBachelors program
It is not possible to complete a financial assistance application for an entire program credential as a bundle. In other words, your desired program will not display on the drop down. You can only apply for single courses from the form.
To apply for financial assistance in a program, you will need to enroll as an audit learner in each course in the program individually and then complete the application.
To do this from the program introduction page, scroll down to Courses in this Program. Click on the title of one of the courses listed to expand it. Click View the course to view the course introduction page. There, you can click the Enroll button to enroll in that course.
After you've enrolled in one of the courses in the audit track, you will be able to select that course from the dropdown on the financial assistance application and submit your application.
We recommend that you enroll in, apply for assistance, and complete each course in the program one by one.
