To change your email address connected to edX
- At the top of any page, select the dropdown menu icon next to your username.
- Select Account.
- In the Email Address field under Account Information, select your current email address and replace it with the new address.
- To save your changes, click "Save." The message "We've sent a confirmation message to 'email address'" will show if this was successful. Click the link in the message to activate your updated email address.
If you don't receive a confirmation email from email@example.com, make sure that you typed the email correctly (you can complete the above steps again.)
If it's not successful, please note it's not possible to change an account email address to use an email connected to another edX account, or a previously deleted account. If you entered an email address that is already in use, the confirmation will not be sent.
