How do I change my email address?

To change your email address connected to edX

1. At the top of any page, select the dropdown menu icon next to your username.
2. Select Account.
3. In the Email Address field under Account Information, select your current email address and replace it with the new address.
4. To save your changes, click Save. The message "We've sent a confirmation message to 'email address'".
5. If it's successful, you'll receive an email from no-reply@registration.edx.org Email Change Confirmation for edX. Click the link in the email to complete the change.

Why didn't I receive the confirmation email?

• It's possible that you mis-typed the desired email address. Double check the steps again.
• If this email address is already in use on another edX account, you won't receive the confirmation email. This includes:
  • If the email is the recovery email address on another account
  • If the email was associated to a previously deleted account
