You might encounter the following situations while you are taking a proctored exam.
The PSI Secure Browser Closes or Crashes
If you accidentally close the Secure Browser window, or if the window crashes, your exam will automatically end. You will not be able to resume your exam by reopening the window. Please select the Submit a Request button at the bottom of this page to contact the edX Support team for assistance.
If you are taking a proctored exam and encounter technical difficulties with the Secure Browser, you can also select Contact Support in the proctoring software window to reach live chat assistance.
Internet Connectivity Drops Below Acceptable Speeds
If your internet connection speed drops below the 500kbps threshold, or you lose connection to the internet entirely, your exam will end. You will not be able to resume your exam. Select the Help button or visit the Contact Us form to contact edX Support for assistance.

You Need to Retake the Proctored Exam
If you need to retake a proctored exam for any reason, contact edX Support. Select the Help button at the bottom of this page or visit the Contact Us page.
Note: When you retake an exam, you start the exam over from the beginning. You must set up the proctoring software, answer the questions, and complete all other steps again.
